Standard and powerful LEDs are offered in enclosures with PLCC-2/4 sizes, while MiniLED have a small SMD enclosure with a size of 2.3x1.4x1.2 mm. The next smallest package is 0603 in the output frame and PCB-based versions, followed by the smallest package in the portfolio Vishay : the new 0402. Little Star® series with a power of 1 W has a height profile < 1.5 mm, which is 17% thinner than a typical PLCC6 case.
